INSTRUCTION MANUAL
PLEASE READ BEFORE USE
This fan is for residential use only (220-240V outlet). It is not intended to be used in commercial or
industrial settings.
IMPORTANT SAFETY PRECAUTIONS
When using electrical appliance, basic safety precautions should always be followed to reduce the
risk of fire, electric shock and injury to persons, including the following:
•
Please always position on a flat, steady surface to avoid overturning.
•
DO NOT position the back of the fan close to a curtain that may get sucked into the rear inlet
when the fan is on. Rain may cause an electrical hazard.
•
DO NOT leave the fan in an area where water has collected. DO NOT immerse unit, plug or
cord in water or spray with liquids.
•
DO NOT operate in the presence of explosive and/or flammable fumes.
•
DO NOT place the fan near an open flame, cooking or other heating appliance.
•
DO NOT use in close proximity to a bathtub or any reservoir of water.
•
Never leave the appliance unsupervised when in use. Keep out of reach of children or
incompetent persons.
•
From time to time check the appliance for damages. Never use the appliance if the cord or the
appliance shows any signs of damage but have it checked and repaired by a competent qualified
service agent. If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer or its
service agent or similar qualified person in order to avoid a hazard.
•
Ensure that fingers and sharp objects are not inserted into the grille when the fan is on

Unplug the fan from the outlet when not in use, when moving the fan from one location to
another or before cleaning.
•
Do not hang or mount the fan on a wall or ceiling.
•
Never move the appliance by pulling the cord. Make sure the cord cannot get caught in any way.
Do not wind the cord around the appliance and do not bend it.
•
This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including children) with reduced physical,
sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge, unless they have been
given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance by a person responsible for
their safety.
Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the appliance.
