Bimetal Thermometers for Asphalt Temperature
Thank you for purchasing Bimetal Thermometer for asphalt temperature.
- This product is designed to measure temperature of asphalt (140 to 180
℃
). Do not use it
for other purposes.
- Read this manual thoroughly before using this bimetal thermometer. Keep the manual in
a safe place for future references whenever necessary.
Measurements
Insert the sensing stem into the target to more than half of the stem from the pointed end.

Cautions
For your safety and proper use of the bimetal thermometer, be sure to observe the
following:
- After taking the measurement, the unit becomes very hot. Do not directly touch the
thermometer avoiding to get burned yourself.
- Never use the bimetal thermometer out of the measurement range (0 to 200°C).
- Never disassemble or alter the thermometer, which may cause malfunctions.
- Do not drop, bent or apply shock to the thermometer. Otherwise, malfunctions may occur.
- Do not alter, bend or bind the sensing stem, as doing so may break or damage the
thermometers.
-To prevent injury, be careful of the sharp tip of the sensing stem especially when cleaning
the stem after taking measurements.
-Never push the sensing stem into a hard object. Dong so may cause the stem to bend.
Maintenance
For accurate measurements, it is desirable to confirm the accuracy of the bimetal
thermometer in comparison with the standard thermometer once a year.
