Goals

Read error codes and clear faults.
Backup and restore a MOVIDRIVE

Start up the MOVIDRIVE
®
B in V/f mode.
Run the drive in manual mode.
Examine and edit parameters.
In most
cases, it’s much easier and convenient to work with the MOVIDRIVE
®
B through
MOVITOOLS
®
. But on some occasions, a laptop may not be available. Or perhaps you need to
do something very simple, such as changing a parameter or two. For these situations, the
DBG60 keypad is a useful tool.
Admittedly, the keypad is far less convenient and a bit more challenging to use because of its
tiny screen and limited controls. But knowing how to use
it can be a lifesaver, so it’s worthwhile
to develop your skills
. Let’s examine its buttons.
