8-Port Rack-Mount PDU with C13 Outlets - 1U - 16 A

Introduction

The PDU08C13EU is a cost-effective power distribution solution 

that you can mount in your rack to deliver power to your rack-

mounted equipment. The PDU is constructed from durable steel and 

mounts horizontally in your rack, taking up only 1U of space. The 

PDU features a dual circuit breaker that is designed to protect your 

equipment from power surges, and two reset buttons that you can 

use to reset the PDU after a power surge.

Install the rack-mount PDU

The rack-mount PDU takes up 1U of space.

1.  Line up the 

Mounting holes

 on the rack-mount PDU with the 

mounting holes on your server rack.

2.  Use the provided screws and cage nuts or the mounting hardware 

that came with your rack to attach the rack-mount PDU to your 

server rack. 

3.  Connect the power cord to the 

C20 power port

 on the rack-

mount PDU and a power source. Make sure that you connect the 

power cord directly to the power source and not another PDU.

4.  Connect the devices in your server rack to the 

C13 outlets

 on the 

rack-mount PDU.

Caution!

 The combined power draw of all of the devices attached to 

the rack-mount PDU shouldn’t exceed 16 A, otherwise you will trip 

the built-in circuit breaker.

Troubleshooting

What do I do if I trip the circuit breaker?

If you trip the circuit breaker, complete the following:

1.  Make sure that the combined power draw of all of the devices 

attached to the rack-mount PDU doesn’t exceed 16 A.

2.  Press one of the 

Reset buttons

 on the rack-mount PDU.
