Heating pads are effective pain relievers to soothe muscle and joint pain. The

Sunbeam

®

ConformHeat™ heating pad is an ultra-flexible pad that contours to

most areas of the body to provide even, high-level heat for effective pain relief.  It

has been cleverly designed from the inside out to eliminate stiffness, improving

the contact between body and pad with its lightly weighted layer of beads. The

conformable pad includes XpressHeat

®

technology that allows you to feel the

high-level heat in 30 seconds for fast pain relief.

HEATING PAD COMPONENTS

HOW TO USE YOUR HEATING PAD

1.  Make sure cord connector (Figure 2, letter A) is securely attached to the pad

connector (Figure 2, letter B) by pushing both connector parts together until

the connector release tab (Figure 2, letter C) clicks into place for a tight fit.

2.  After controller is connected to pad, plug into 120V AC electrical outlet. Note:

Controller must be connected to heating pad before plugging unit into outlet.

3.  To turn the pad on, press the Control Button (Figure 3, letter A).

4.  Select from 3 heat settings: low, medium, or high, by repeatedly pressing the

control button until the desired heat setting indicator lights up (Figure 3, letter B).

5.  When applying the pad to the area of pain, ensure that the body side

of the pad (Figure 1, number 1) is touching the body in order to feel

the maximum level of heat for more effective pain relief.

6.  To turn the pad off, press the Control Button (Figure 3, letter A) repeatedly

until all of the heat setting indicator lights (Figure 3, letter B) turn off.

CAUTION:

•  DO NOT SIT ON, LEAN AGAINST, CRUSH OR FOLD PAD DURING USE.

•  DO NOT USE WHILE SLEEPING.

•   SEE ADDITIONAL WARNINGS IN THE IMPORTANT SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS SECTION.

AUTO-OFF FEATURE

Your heating pad controller includes an Auto-Off feature. This feature is designed to

conserve energy by automatically turning off after 2 hours of continuous use. The

Auto-Off Indicator (Figure 3, letter C) will flash when the auto-off feature is activated

and the pad shuts off. To reset after Auto-Off, press the control button until the

desired heat setting is reached.
NOTE: After a power outage, the Auto-Off feature automatically resets the time.

HOW TO USE YOUR HEATING PAD WITH MOIST HEAT THERAPY

Moist heat provides deep penetrating pain relief. When using moist

heat therapy, you should protect furniture and clothing from becoming

damp.
1.   Dampen the body side of the heating pad (Figure 1, number 1) with

water by patting the surface with a wet sponge or cloth, or use a

spray bottle to apply a fine mist. Do not thoroughly soak pad.

2.   Do not spray or dampen the pad connector. (Figure 4)
DANGER: DO NOT IMMERSE THE PAD OR WIRING IN WATER OR PLACE

UNDER RUNNING WATER. FAILURE TO COMPLY MAY RESULT IN

PRODUCT FAILURE AND/OR PERSONAL INJURY. THE ELECTRICAL PAD CONNECTOR

MUST BE THOROUGHLY DRY BEFORE ESTABLISHING ELECTRICAL CONNECTION.

WASHING INSTRUCTIONS
