DESCRIZIONE
I modelli della serie SE138K sono in
grado di rivelare gas combustibili ed
utilizzano un sensore di tipo catalitico
tarabile per alcuni gas. L’apparecchio
ha due relè di allarme che intervengo-
no rispettivamente al 10% LEL e al
20% del LIE del gas di taratura. I relè,
di tipo sigillato, sono normalmente ec-
citati con contatti in scambio liberi da
tensione. L'apparecchio è costituito da
una custodia antideflagrante EEx cer-
tificata CESI che contiene il circuito
elettronico e i morsetti di collegamen-
to; il sensore è inserito nel portasenso-
re cilindrico con filtro sinterizzato certi-
ficato CESI Ex-d-IIC-T6, posto nella
parte inferiore della custodia.
I rivelatori della serie SE138K ven-
gono normalmente utilizzato in si-
stemi centralizzati di allarme per
parcheggi, industrie, ecc.
FUNZIONAMENTO
Il sensore catalitico è praticamente
insensibile alle variazioni di umidità e
temperatura ed è in grado di rilevare
molti gas infiammabili. Per questo,
anche se la taratura viene eseguita
per uno specifico gas, il sensore può
rilevare anche altri gas o solventi in-
fiammabili presenti nello stesso loca-
le. Il sensore, quando viene alimenta-
to, necessita di un tempo di preriscal-
do di circa 30 secondi. Dopo questo
tempo è in grado di rilevare il gas, ma
raggiunge le condizioni di stabilità ot-
timali dopo circa 48 ore di funziona-
mento continuo.
DESCRIPTION
Gas Detectors series SE138K allow
explosive gas measurement. They
employ a catalytic sensor specifically
calibrated to different types of gases.
The detector has two alarm levels set
to 10% and 20% LEL. The sealed re-
lays are normally activated with ten-
sion free changeover contacts.
The instrument comprises of a EEx
CESI certified enclosure in which the
electronic circuit and the connecting
terminals are mounted. The unit has a
downward facing cylindrical section
housing the sensor behind a sintered
stainless steel flame trap certified
CESI Ex-d-IIC-T6.
These gas detectors find their best
application in centralized alarm sys-
tems for car parks, manufacturing in-
dustries, etc. and are able to detect
most of the combustible gases.
OPERATIONAL DESCRIPTION
The catalytic sensor is practically insen-
sitive to humidity and temperature varia-
tions and can detect various flammable
gases. Although the calibration is carried
out with the specific gas to be detected,
the sensor can contemporaneously de-
tect any other flammable gas that should
be present in the same enviroment.
When powered, the sensor needs a time
of preliminary heating of about 30 sec-
onds. After this period, the sensor is able
to detect gas even if it attains the opti-
mum stability conditions after about 48
hours continual functioning.
DESCRIPTION
Les modèles SE138K sont des détec-
teurs de gaz combustibles. Ils utilisent
un capteur à combustion catalytique éta-
lonnable pour certains gaz.
L'appareil possède deux relais d’alarme
qui interviennent respectivement à 10%
LIE et à 20% LIE du gaz d’étalonnage.
Les relais de type étanche, sont norma-
lement excités avec contact inverseurs
ilibres de tension.
L'appareil est constitué d'un boîtier anti-
déflagrant EEx (CESI) contenant le cir-
cuit électronique et les borniers de rac-
cordement. Le capteur est monté dans
une tête protégée par un filtre en métal
fritté qui est placée dans la partie infé-
rieure du boîtier. La certification de la
tête est CESI Ex-d-IIC-T6.
Les SE138K sont normalement utilisés
dans les systèmes d’alarme centralisés
pour parkings, industries, laboratoires etc.
FONCTIONNEMENT
Le capteur catalytique est pratiquement
insensible aux variations de température
et d'humidité, et il est capable de détec-
ter pratiquement tous les gaz combusti-
bles et certains solvants inflammables.
L'étalonnage est effectué pour le gaz
que le capteur doit détecter, mais dans
le même temps, il peut détecter d’autres
gaz combustibles présents dans la
pièce. Lorsque le détecteur est alimenté,
le capteur a besoin d’un temps de pré-
chauffage d'environ 30 secondes pour
être opérationnel, mais les conditions de
stabilisation ne seront obtenues qu'aprés
environ 48 heures de fonctionnement.
