DIGITAL RADIO CONTROL SYSTEM PRP
GENERAL DESCRIPTION
Electronic for the remote control of tubular motors for roller blinds with limit
switch inside or outside the motor, radio receiver section with transmitter channel
memorisation by means of push button or via radio.
Possibility to connect two a safety device like photocells, safety edges or similars
with a auto-test control before every closing movement.
Possibility to connect safety devices with a 24V
of 80 mA maximum load
(CSP+FTC).
Possibility to connect a 230V
flashing lamp, which works during the working
time. Possibility to connect a 230V
courtesy light with 3 min. working time.
Plastic box (outside use) equipped with PG11 clamps.
Possibility of centralised controls for simultaneous control of several appliances.
Working time and automatic closing time adjustable from 3 s to 1.5 minutes by
means of an internal trimmer.
Attention
: working time is read at the beginning of any movement, therefore a
setting which has been done during the movement, will be not considered.
Possibility to connect an external switch with open, stop, close function.
Installation
The subject appliance must be installed only by qualified technical personnel in
compliance with the standards on the subject of automatic openings, curtains,
blinds, rolling shutters. All connections must be rated for a single-phase power
supply of 230V. For the disconnection from the power line, use an all-pole switch
with contact with an opening of at least 3,5mm. Only suitable materials for the
connections must be used to guarantee insulation that complies with current
standards on the subject of electrical safety. The programmer carries out move-
ment commands; all the necessary safety devices are to be seen to separately.
Keep separate the 230V wires from the safety wires with low tension. The earth-wires
must be fixed by means of an additional fastening; this fastening has to be done by
qualified technical personnel during the installation phase.
The appliance has been tested with a power supply wire type H05VV-F; the power
supply wires for outdoor use have not to be lighter than the ordinary wires type
H05RN-F. The safety devices have to be in conformity with EN12978.
The installation of the control unit has to be done by fixing the box vertically with the
clamps downwards.
The programmer is in conformity with the RAEE and RoHS directive.
Dip- switch functions
Dip1: Insertion automatic closing
Attention
: If the closing movement is in “present man” mode, let the dip in OFF-
position.
Dip1 ON:
automatic re-closing is activated
Dip1 OFF:
automatic re-closing is deactivated
Times learning
Working time ( to be set always)
- The working time should be learnt by placing the control unit in semi-automatic
mode (Dip1 in OFF- position), then set the time at a value that is 3 s higher than the
time of the whole opening or closing stroke.
-
Attention!
When the control unit operates in semi-automatic mode, the working
time is read at each movement start and the trimmer operates as setting of the
working time; variations of the trimmer during the movement are not considered.
Time of automatic re-closure (only with activated automatic re-closing)
Place the dip-switch n° 1 in ON position.
- The displacement of the dip-switch from OFF to ON memorizes the working time
that was set before in the semi-automatic mode (the memorized working time could
be modified only by returning in the semi-automatic mode).
- The trimmer operates only as setting of the pause time (automatic re-closure).
-
Warning!
When the control unit operates in automatic mode, the pause time is read
at each movement start; variations of the trimmer during the pause are not considered.

Dip4- ON:
TA turn into TD; dynamic push-button
Dip4- OFF:
TA opening push-button
Dip5:
Test deactivated- input pneumatic buffer barrier CSP
Dip5- ON:
Test deactivated
Dip5- OFF:
Test activated
Dip6: Memorisation of buffer barrier type
Dip6 ON: Normal functioning
Dip6 OFF: Memorisation phase
Attention!
During the memorisation of the buffer barrier type, the control unit has to be
connected to the buffer barrier. Procedure:
- Set the jumper J1 on the used buffer barrier type.
- Switch Dip6 on OFF, the buzzer will sound continuously.
- When the control unit has recognised the buffer barrier type, the CSP led will turn
on.
- Switch Dip6 on ON.
If the will not turn on or flash, control the connections or the setting of the buffer
barrier type on J1.
Safety test function (output terminal boards 22-23)
The control unit is predisposed to verify at every closing control the correct working
of the safety inputs CSP and FTC.
The test on the input CSP can be excluded by means of dip5, while the input FTC
needs always to make this test.
Therefore, use the output on the terminal boards 22-23 to execute this control,
normally close relay contact (max. 1 A, 35 V).
Attention!
If one of the inputs CSP or FTC is open during a closing command, the buzzer will
make:
3 bips if the FTC is open
4 bips if the CSP is open
5 bips if the safety test will not be passed.
It is possible to close the door also with a not working photocell or with a negative
photocell test (forced closing), by pressing and hold down the closing push button TC
after 5 s the control unit closes at present man condition, this function is not active on
the CSP.
Safety input function
- CSP:
Normally closed input, with automatic or semi-automatic mode inverts the
movement during closing, at present man condition it inverts the movement
for 2s.
- FTC:
Normally closed input, with automatic or semi-automatic mode inverts the
movement during closing, at present man condition it inverts the movement
for 2 s.
-
TB:
Normally closed input, stop push button stops the movement in each condition.
Possibility to memorise the transmitter in two ways:
1 -
Control from two channels ch1 with ch2 and ch3 with ch4, ch1 and ch3 are
controls of opening, ch2 and ch4 are control of closing.
2 -
Single channels with dynamic function, opening, stop, closing,.
The transmitter code can be inserted (memorised) or deleted directly in the receiver
or via radio from the transmitter. This last possibility allows to insert new transmitters
into an existing installation, without acting directly on the receiver. This may be
carried out easily by the end user without the help of the installer, and guaranteeing
Present-man mode (this mode is in present-man condition, each
manual and radio command remain until the function is activated,
while releasing the control, the output is immediately deactivated)
The closing movement is in present-man condition, during the
opening it is automatic.
Automatic mode, the opening and closing movement is automatic.
Automatic mode with closing after the photocell intervention, only
if paired with the inserted automatic closing, dip1 in ON- posi-
tion. After an opening the photocell resets the time of automatic
re-closing.
