Supply Cable

The RCD circuit breaker
(1) must only be used
in an indoor, earthed,
three pin mains socket.

Ensure that the cable

from the RCD plug to
the Primary Safepod
module cannot be
trapped cut or damaged
and does not create a trip hazard.

Do not connect the power to the Safepod

module until the module is secured in a vertical
position and the cover is
closed.

The external

waterproof plugs and
sockets automatically
lock together with a
simple plastic clip (2).
An audible “Click” will be
heard.  To disconnect this
clip insert a screwdriver
into the slot and pull the
connectors apart.

Safepod Module

Secure the Safepod Module to a rigid vertical
surface.  Use at least two of the four corner
fixing holes.  Use the module as a template to
mark the position for the wall plugs and screws
provided.

The cover can be removed for ease of fixing

(3).  Ensure that the rubber seals are clean and
dry before replacing the cover.  Do not connect
the power until the Safepod Module is secured
and the cover replaced.  Do not operate with

the cover removed
at any time

Select a suitable

vertical surface
protected from
running water and
extreme weather.
Position out of reach
of children and pets
(4). Do not attempt to remove the internal
switch plate or the external connectors.

The external waterproof plugs and sockets

automatically lock together with a simple
plastic clip.  An audible “Click” will be heard.  To
disconnect this clip
insert a flat
screwdriver into the
slot and pull the
connectors apart.

Appliances using

a 3pin mains plug
can be connected by
plugging into the
independently
switched 3pin
sockets inside the
Safepod.  Disconnect power before opening the
cover.

Dry the module to prevent water entering the

Safepod Module.  Plug in the appliance and
ensure the cable is lying across the soft
membrane.  Ensure cover latches closed with
audible “click”.   Leads should hang down and
be secured whenever possible.

Keep cover closed and secured when power

is on.  The red light shows when power is
connected to the Safepod.
