The MR550 can work either online or offline,
storing transactions locally.
Multiple I/O ports and interfaces

The MR550 features a built-in swipe slot,
which can accommodate an optional bar code,
magnetic stripe, proximity,
or finger print reader.
This permits the user to choose the technology
that results in a cost-efficient solution.
