Get to know your
MED-EL SONNET Speech Processor
Insert the batteries into their slots then switch the processor on by pushing the battery pack cover
into position. The processor will go back to the last program that you were using. Switch the
processor off by taking the battery pack cover off.
(If you wish to use the child lock, this can be found on the opposite side of the battery pack cover
from the air inlets. The unlocked position is vertical. You will need a small screwdriver to turn the
lock clockwise to its locked position. If you imagine the lock is like a clock, the locked position is at
about 4 o’clock.)
TOP TIPS
•
Change the microphone covers every 3 or 4 months.
•
To prevent moisture affecting your processor, use your dry box every night.
•
With the indicator light, a red flashing light indicates a problem whereas a green light is for
information only.
•
If the processor sounds ‘crackly’, intermittent or stops working, change the cable in the first
instance.
