INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS
Countertop Water Filter
The system and installation must comply with all state and local laws and
regulations.
Do not use with water that is microbiologically unsafe or of unknown
quality without adequate disinfection before or after the system.
Systems certified for cyst reduction may be used on disinfected waters
that may contain filterable cysts.

When to change the filter cartridge
Change the filter cartridge every 12 months or sooner if bad taste and
odour return, or if the water flow is noticeably reduced.
Inspect the O-Ring for damage and lubricate with food grade grease.
1 Separate the base of the filter housing from the upper housing by
unscrewing the two pieces (the base has the chrome spout attached to
it).
2 Unscrew the aerator from the kitchen sink faucet (Figure 1)
3 Attach the diverter valve to the kitchen faucet (Figure 2) – hand tighten
only.
4 Unwrap the filter cartridge – make sure your hands are clean.
5 Place filter cartridge on the base of the filter housing making sure it fits
neatly and firm.
6 Place the upper housing over the filter cartridge and gently screw the
two housings together – making sure that the o-ring does not kink.
7 Turn the cold water on at the main tap – turn the countertop filter unit
water supply on at the diverter valve. (Figure 3).
