3.10.1 Class Assignment for All Extensions
Format: 40 L#
Explanation: Where L = the class number (0-6)
Description: Assign a dialing-out class for all extensions
L=1: no restriction
L=2: all calls allowed except International
L=3: all calls allowed except long-distance dialing
L=4: calls are restricted to numbers in Item A
L=5: calls are restricted to numbers in Item B
L=6: intercom calls only
L=0: special calling numbers only
Example: Assign the dialing-out class 3 for all extensions.
1. In default the dialing-out class for all extensions is 2 which means International calls are barred.
2. This command enables a user to set a dialing-out class in a fast and convenient way, especially
when most extensions have the same class.
For example, if you want set extension 603 to class 3 and extension 608 to class 4 and the rest of
the extensions to class 5, then you can set class 5 for all extensions and change class to 3 for
extension 603 and 4 for 608.
3.10.2 Class Assignment for Specific Extensions
Format: 40 N L#
Explanation: Where N = the extension number (1-8); L = the class number (0-6)
