are available.

BCS
Sub
command
[Object No.] [String No.] [Code data]
At setting: Max. 33-byte
At readout: Max. 63-byte

Sub command is “S” for the setting request data and “A” for the response data for readout.

“0”–“7”: Object No. 1100 to 1107
String No.
1
or
2
For bar code/ 1D side of composite
code:
“1”–“2”
• The string No. is applied to the linefeed
of the human readable character. The
linefeed is not included in the code data.
• If the code data length is more than 30-
byte, set the character in the several
string No. They are connected together
in numerical order without linefeed to
create the code data.
• For EAN/UPC/JAN or 1D side of GS1
DataBar Limited/Stacked, set “1” always.
• Only for 2D side of the composite code,
set this item with 2-byte length.
For 2D code:
“1”–“9”
For 2D side of composite code:
“01”–“09”
Code data
Min. 0
Max. 30
Input Method: ASCII code
• Functional characters cannot be used.
• Specify 0-byte for data length to delete
characters.
• If the readout data includes characters
that cannot be expressed in ASCII code
such as Japanese characters (2-byte
character), only these 2-byte characters
are read out in shift JIS code.
• If the code data contains any functional
characters or 2-byte characters, the
maximum readout data can be 60-byte.
Total data length
Max. 32
or
Max. 33
Variable length.
• For bar code/2D code/1D side of composite code: Max. 32-byte
• For 2D side of composite code: Max. 33-byte
• Response data for readout: Max. 63-byte
