5.18 JC, conditional jump
With function block JC.. you can branch off forwards to a jump label
(Label, LB) within the function block list to skip several function blocks.
You use LB.. (jump label) as the jump destination. The JC and LB function
blocks are used in the circuit diagram.
easy800 device allows up to 32 conditional jumps.
Contacts and Coils
The contact indicates a fault if there is not an associated jump present or is in
front of the jump location (backward jump).
Example of a conditional jump

Parametric programming of the function block inputs/outputs
When using the function block in the circuit diagram for the first time, use
OK to automatically enter the general display of function block parameters,
as shown in the figure on the left. Enter the function block settings here.
The display contains the following elements:
Function of the function block
If the JC..EN enable coil is active, the program jumps forwards over one or
several function blocks. The next function block to be processed is then the
first to follow the LB jump label in the function block diagram. If the JC..EN
enable coil is not active, the program is processing the next function block
that is added in the function block diagram behind JC…
→
For each JC.. function block, an LB.. function block must be
provided as the jump label. The JC.. and LB.. function blocks
must always be used in pairs. JC01 is always assigned the jump
label LB01.
→
The description of the LB.. function block is provided on
section 5.19, “LB, jump label”, page 213.
