P target value
[
WSetPct
]
- 100 – 100 [%]
Defines the target value of the active power.
Settling time
[
WparamRmpTms
]
200 – 60000 [ms]
Determines the dynamic behaviour in the event
of a change in the active power set value. The
active power is changed according to a PT-1
characteristic curve with a settling time of
5 Tau.
NOTE: The settling time is overlaid with the in-
creasing and decreasing gradient.
Increasing output gradient
[
WparamRmpDecTmm
]
Decreasing output gradient
[
WparamRmpIncTmm
]
1 – 65524 [%/min]
Determines the dynamic behaviour in the event
of a change in the active power set value. The
active power is changed with the specified
gradient.
Note: The gradient is overlaid with the settling
time.
P limit
The function “P limit” is available for limiting the maximum feed-in power. If necessary, this can be used to reduce the
feed of an inverter, e.g. for managing bottlenecks for the operator of the distribution grid.
P limit is only available via the MODBUS/SunSpec inverter model 123
WMaxLimPct
and via RS485 communication. You
can find detailed information on the communication protocol at
in the “Software” subsection of
the “Downloads” section.
When a target value is received for P limit, the output power of the inverter is limited to the specified power value. If the
limit value is changed, the new value is adopted by way of a filter and a gradient limitation. The current power may be be-
low the specified limit value because the available power (PV) or the target power value (storage) may be below the spe-
cified limit value. Depending on the inverter series, the settling time and gradient limitation may be adjustable.

Reference Description
Power Limitation
[
WMaxLimPct
]
0 – 100 [%]
Specifies the standard power in the event of a
communication failure. If no active power com-
mand is received within the configured timeout,
the inverter sets the power to the configured
fallback power.
Timeout
[
WMaxLimPct_RvrtTms]
3 – 100000 [%]
Specifies the timeout time after which the in-
verter sets the fallback power in the event of a
communication failure.
Increasing output gradient
[
WMaxLimPct_RmpTms
]
&
Decreasing output gradient
[
OutPFSet_RmpTms
]
1 – 65534 [% S
max
/min]
Determines the dynamic behaviour in the event
of a change in the active power set value. The
active power is changed with the specified
gradient.
NOTE: The gradient is overlaid with the settling
time.
Increasing output gradient
[
WMaxLimPct_RmpTms
] &
Decreasing output gradient
[
OutPFSet_RmpTms
]
x [% S
max
/min]
The gradient limitation is deactivated.
