ADD GROUP
<group name>
Adds a group to the system
The default group description is blank.
Only enclosure administrators
may execute this command. A
maximum of 20 groups may
be added to the system.
The <group name> must be
unique to all other group
names and user names and is
case-sensitive. It must be
1-13 characters long and can
include alphanumeric, dash,
and underscore characters. It
must begin with a letter.
NOTE:
Administrator,
“switcha,” “switchb,” and “all”
are reserved names and
cannot be used. This
restriction is not case-
sensitive.

ADD USER
<user name>
{<password>}
Adds a user to the system
If a password is not given, the user is prompted for one. If
SCRIPT MODE is enabled, the password is not optional and
must be provided.
Only enclosure administrators
may execute this command. A
maximum of 25 users may be
added in addition to the
reserved accounts.
The <user name> must be
unique to all other group
names and user names and is
case-sensitive. It must be
1-13 characters long and can
include alphanumeric, dash,
and underscore characters. It
must begin with a letter.
The <password> must be 3-8
characters long and includes
all printable characters. If a
password is not entered, the
user is prompted for one.
