Commands in the DHCPPOOL configuration mode
This section describes commands that you can call up in the DHCPPOOL Configuration
mode.
In the Global Configuration mode, enter the
ip dhcp-server pool
command to change to this
mode.

If you exit the DHCPPOOL Configuration mode with the
exit
command, you return to the
Global Configuration mode.
●
If you exit the DHCPPOOL Configuration mode with the
end
command, you return to the
Privileged EXEC mode.

Description
With this command, you specify how long the assigned IPv4 address remains valid. Once
this period has elapsed, the device must either request a new IPv4 address or extend the
lease time of the existing IPv4 address.
Requirement
You are in the DHCPPOOL configuration mode.
The command prompt is as follows:
cli(config-dhcp-pool-<ID>)#
Syntax
Call up the command with the following parameters:
lease-time <seconds (60-31536000)>
The parameter has the following meaning:
