Plugin usage on POS device HUB
The POS Device HUB allows also POS application providers to write plugins for performing
several functions. In case the Unified POS interface is not desired for peripheral access from
a tablet application providers may write own plugins. Plugins may be written in

Java :
Java plugins find an environment of a JavaVM (openjdk 1.7) and for peripheral access
via JavaPOS

Native Code Plugins:
Native code plugins need to be written as Linux programs running under CentOS 6
(kernel 2.6.32)
Plugins run as non-root user with restricted rights.
Plugins can be downloaded via SSH copy with user upload-plugin. Plugins need to be pack-
ages in a ZIP or a TGZ file following a defined format.
