Notes on Inquiry Commands
1. The basic reply to a query is a list of all zones where “1”
is a positive response to the query. Each zone is separated by
a comma and the string is terminated by a colon, cr, and lf.
Zone 1 is on the left and first in the reply string.
Example query and response:
unmute? 0,1,0,0,1,0,0,0:
In this example zones 2 and 5 are unmuted.
2. For those queries where there is not a list of all zones in
the reply (eg. main power), the response is also terminated by
a colon.

Returns which zones are
switched to bus #2
local?
Returns which zones are
switched to local input
signalsource?
Returns a list showing for
each zone what is its source
Example:
1,3,2,3,3,1,1,2 where 1 is
Bus #1 and 3 is Local
temp?
Returns a value for each
zone where cool is 1, warm is
2 and hot is 3
