Labels
This is where you label what the I/O is going to represent.
You have labels for analog inputs when in and outside of
the range of the values configured in the previous
threshold triggers.
There are also labels for inside and outside of the modules
temperature range as well as labels for the status of the
digital inputs.
SMS CLI (Command line interface)
The CLI allows a small set of commands to be sent to
the 615/645M via SMS. All commands are prefixed with
the slash “/” character.
The supported commands are:
/status [pw=password] Returns the following fields:
WAN= DOWN or the IP address of the cellular connection
RSSI= the signal strength of the cellular radio channel
ECIO= the interference on the cellular radio channel
PPTP= the state of the PPTP VPN: UP or DOWN
IPSEC= the number of active / enabled / defined tunnels
V= the main voltage of the modem
T= the temperature of the modem
D1=, D2= the state of the two digital inputs:
0 (inactive) or 1 (active)
A1=, A2= the levels of the two analog inputs, in volts
R1=, R2= the state of the two relay outputs: O (open)
or C (closed)
/iostatus [pw=password]
Returns the status of all the I/O. Returns the following
iostatus: D1=1 D2=1 D3=1 D4=1 D5=1 D6=1 D7=1
A1=0.0 A2=0.0 A3=0.0 A4=0.0 R1=1 R2=1 R3=1 R4=1
R5=1 R6=1 R7=1
/pptpstart [pw=password]
Starts the PPTP VPN.
/pptpstop [pw=password]
Stops the PPTP VPN.
/ipsecstart [pw=password] tun=label
Starts the IPsec tunnel that has the specified label.
/ipsecstop [pw=password] tun=label
Stops the IPsec tunnel that has the specified label.
/output [pw=password] rn=v ...Controls the relay outputs,
where: r is “r”, “rly” or “relay”;
n is “1” or “2”;
v is “0”, “o” or “open” to open; “1”, “c”, “close” or “closed”
to close.
r and v can be in any case, upper or lower. Both relays can
be set from one command.
e.g /output pw=12345678 r1=1 would turn the ON
/reset [pw=password]
resets the modem.
Operation
The 615/645M will send the
alarms via SMS if the trigger
condition for that input has
been met, i.e. if the digital
input changes state or the
analog value goes outside
of the threshold values.
The screenshot also shows a
typical messages you would
see on a mobile phone, i.e.
“Fridge 2 Alarm” for ON and
“Fridge 2 OK” for OFF.
The example also shows a
typical status command that
you can send to the modem
“/status pw=12345678”
which allows you to
interrogate the 615/645M
modem and get a status
of all of the I/O and
general cellular connection
information.
You can see in the Status the
WAN IP address, RSII (signal
level to the tower), Tunnel
Status, GPS (not available in
this model), Supply voltage
and the status of the I/O.
The next screen shot
demonstrates turning of
digital outputs ON and
OFF by send a “/output”
command.
“/output pw=XXXX r1=1”
would turn ON Relay
output #1
“/output pw=XXXX r1=0”
would turn OFF Relay
output #1
“XXXX” represents the
password that has been
configured into the 615M.
The 615/645M will respond
with the status of the
output, i.e.
O = Relay open, C= relay
closed or G= Ground.
You can also use the “/
iostatus pw=password”
command to get a status
of just the I/O.
