If one just performed a gain calibration, CalibrationFlatFieldLoadSaveSetSelector should be set to
GainCalibrationSetx, the same value as in CalibrationFlatFieldSetSelector that determined which set
was calibrated.
The actual saving procedure may take a couple of tens of seconds.
Buffer commands (Icategory: BurstMode)
6.12
The decoupling of acquisition and interface as depicted in image 6.2 makes it possible to output
images at a speed that differs from acquisition speed. Furthermore the images may be output at a
lower moment in time.
The output speed is simply determined by the equation in section 6.4.2.
The output moment in time can be controlled via the BurstRequestMode parameter.
That can be set as follows:
RequestModeAuto: After exposure has finished, images are be output
•
immediately whenever the
interface is ready for transmission.
RequestModeTriggeredAll: All images are released from buffer memory directly or upon receiving
•
a software trigger (BurstSoftRequest command).
RequestModeTriggeredProgrammableAmount: a preset number of images are released from
•
buffer memory upon receiving a software trigger (BurstSoftRequest command). The number is
configurable with the BurstRequestSize parameter.
At any time, the amount of frames can be checked by querying the parameter BurstImageCount.
In case of a buffer overrun, the parameter BurstBufferOverrun will become True/Yes. This situation the
camera cannot output images anymore. By executing the BurstFlushBuffer the memory is cleared and
the BurstImageCount will be set to 0 again.
