5. Results Log uploads
In this mode, the DSA-1 is prompted to transmit the contents of its Results Log to the
HOST. In the version 2.0 firmware, the DSA-1 transmits a variable number of bytes
according to how much of the Log area is in use.
Note that Results Log upload mode can only be instated in the DSA-1 if it is in Host
Mode (sub-menu 9.5.).
The transfer type set in the wakeup exchange is 0x02. After wakeup is established, the
following transaction occurs:
HOST
DSA-1
STX
(data byte 0)
...
(data byte n-1)
ETX
(checksum, all data + ETX)
STX
[end token block]
0x00
0x00
[DSA-1 now exits mode]
ACK (optional)
[or redo wakeup exchange if block was bad]
6. Alarms (Watchdog and Channel Check modes)
The DSA-1 may send short 'alarm' messages while in Watchdog or Channel Check
modes. These alarms will be transmitted, if enabled, whether Serial Slave mode is
active or not, so any HOST program that communicates with the DSA-1 in Serial Slave
mode must be prepared to handle these messages. Each alarm consists of the
following:
DSA-1
STX
0x84
alarm identifier
where the identifier is as follows:
/* WATCHDOG, CARRIER */
