To define a symmetric high bit rate digital subscriber line (SHDSL) G.991.2 standard, use the

command in the configuration controller DSL group mode.

Use the
dsl-group
command to create a DSL group, and then use the
shdsl annex
command to define
the G.991.2 standard for the DSL group.
Note
The annex configuration option is available only for Central Office (CO) termination.

Annex standard for a digital subscriber line (DSL) group. Both standard and nonstandard
Lantiq extensions are supported for annex. The default is annex B.
The following standard annex types are supported for a DSL group:

(Supports both 16 and 32 Trellis Coded Pulse Amplitude Modulation (TC-PAM)
line coding)

(Supports both 16 and 32 TC-PAM line coding)

(Supports both 16 and 32 TC-PAM line coding)
The following nonstandard (extended TC-PAM) annex types are supported for a DSL
group:

(Supports both 64 and 128 TC-PAM line coding)

Note
Nonstandard Lantiq extensions are supported only on Ethernet in the first mile
(EFM) mode.
