Parameters
level
: Specifies an MSTP revision level, ranging from 0 to 65535.
Description
Use the
revision-level
command to configure the MSTP revision level.
Use the
undo revision-level
command to restore the default MSTP revision level.
By default, the MSTP revision level is 0.
The MSTP revision level, the MST region name, and the VLAN-to-instance mapping table of a switch
jointly determine the switch's MST region. When the MST region name and VLAN-to-instance mapping
table are both the same for two MST regions, they can still be differentiated by their MSTP revision levels.
After configuring this command, run the
active region-configuration
command to activate the configured
MST region level.
