Param. = 10: 2,400 Baud
Param. = 11: 1,200 Baud
Param. = 12: 600 Baud

[Command example]  <ESC>V<1d><7d> sets the baud rate to 19.200 permanently.

Param. Address 2: RS232 Params: (Flag Byte)

No Parity xx00 xxxx
Unused xx01xxxx
Even Parity xx10 xxxx
Odd Parity xx11 xxxx

1 Stop Bit xxxx 0xxx
2 Stop Bits xxxx 1xxx

7 Data Bits xxxx xx0x
8 Data Bits xxxx xx1x

Default set: 0000 0010 binary = 2 decimal

Example to set permanently 8 data bits, 1, stop, no parity
Parameter = 0000 0010 binary = 2 decimal
Command: <ESC>V<2d><2d>

Note: Bits marked with an "x" should be set to "0".

Parameter Address 3: Blackening

This parameter has a value range from 0 to 50.
Default value is 50
High values result in strong blackening.
Blackening. Value 35 is a typical standard value for medium blackening density.
[Parameter example] Set blackening to value of 40 permanently: <ESC>V<3d><40d>

Important note:

 do not change the original setting of parameter 3 if not extremely required,

value 50 is maximum allowed, do not use greater values otherwise the printer could get
damage.
