Query
:ELEMents?
Query elements in data string
Description
This command is used to specify the elements to be included in the data
string in response to the following queries:
:FETCh?
:READ?
:MEASure[:<function>]?
You can specify from one to all five elements. Each element in the list
must be separated by a comma (,). These elements (shown in
) are explained as follows:
NOTE
An overflow reading reads as +9.9E37.
VOLTage
— This element provides the TEC voltage measurement.
CURRent
— This element provides the TEC current measurement.
RESistance
— This element provides the TEC resistance measurement.
TEMPerature
— This element provides the TEC temperature
measurement.
TSENSor
— This element provides the sensor temperature
measurement.
TIME
— A timestamp is available to reference each group of readings
to a point in time. The relative timestamp operates as a timer that starts
at zero seconds when the instrument is turned on or when the relative
timestamp is reset (:SYSTem:TIME:RESet). The timestamp for each
reading sent over the bus is referenced, in seconds, to the start time.
STATus
— Each and every measurement performed by the Model 2510
has a STATus word associated with it. This STATus word is accessible
via the :FORMat:ELEMents STATus element. Internally, the Model
2510 maintains this STATus element as a 16-bit integer. Each bit within
this integer provides status information about a particular process asso-
ciated with the construction of the measurement. However, when que-
ried, the decimal equivalent is returned. The format of the STATus
element is as follows:
