set port duplex
(Copper ports only) Use the
set port duplex
command to specify a duplex setting for a port, either half-duplex, full-
duplex, or auto-duplex (default). If using fixed duplex, ensure the link partner matches the same setting.
Syntax
set port
port-id
duplex

Parameters
•
port-id
Specify the port letter to set or show. A–D for front ports; 0 or 1 for rear ports.
•
Auto
Set duplex auto-negotiation. For this setting to be effective, the overall port negotiation must be set to auto-
negotiate, this can be done using the command
set port autoneg auto
.
•
Full
Set full-duplex mode.
•
Half
Set half-duplex mode.
Example
Set port 3A to full-duplex:

set port lock
Use the
set port lock
command to lock/unlock the specified port. A port that is locked is unable to pass traffic, and
indicates a link-down status.
Syntax
set port
port-id
lock

Parameters
•
port-id
Specify the port letter to set or show. A–D for front ports; 0 or 1 for rear ports.
•
On
Lock the port and stop all traffic on that port.
•
Off
Unlock the port and allow traffic to pass on that port.
Example
Lock port 3A:
