set port autolock
Use the
set port autolock
command to toggle the port auto-locking feature, which disables an active port should the cable
be removed. Once a port has been locked, it must be unlocked before it can be used again.
Syntax
set port

Parameters
•
port-id
Specify the port letter to set or show. A–D for front ports; 0 or 1 for rear ports.
•
On
Turn on port auto-locking.
•
Off
Turn off port auto-locking.
Example
Enable autolock for port 3A:

(Copper ports only) Use the
set port autoneg
command to specify manual or auto-negotiation (default) for port speed and
duplex.
When autoneg is set to manual (that is, when auto-negotiation is disabled), you cannot use auto-duplex or auto-speed on
copper ports. Instead, you must set a definite speed (10M or 100M but not 1G), or a definite duplex mode (full-duplex or
half-duplex).
