Note:
In the previous example, all desired operating parameters were
scanned to illustrate the scanning process. In actual practice it would
not be necessary to program those parameters which default to
desired values (i.e.,Append Buffer, Code ID, Transmit Start/Stop
Characters, etc.).
In addition, in order to maximize reading accuracy, all of the unused codes
were disabled. When this protection is desired, it is necessary to disable
each unused code, since all symbologies default to the “Yes” state.
Finally, note that ENTER and EXIT commands were used to initiate and
terminate programming on each menu page.
