VoIP set endpoint adminstate
7.12.1 Syntax
voip set endpoint <index> adminstate <inservice | oos>
7.12.2 Description
This command can be used to take an endpoint
out-of-service (
oos
) or in-service (
inservice
).
Setting an MGCP endpoint in-service (when it is oos or
already in-service) sends a reset (RSIP) to
the MGCP Call Agent which re-initialises the line. This can
sometimes be an effective way to restore
the operation of the MGCP Call Agent.
Setting a SIP endpoint in-service (when it is oos or
already in-service) causes the Voice-IAD system
to re-register with the SIP Proxy Server.
