5. Alternative programming options
A small proportion of programing Pager 7 can be done without internet connection or
application, via GSM call, DTMF commands. Besides this, with DTMF commands you have an
option for certain module status query, acknowledgement of outgoing calls, pausing operations
after call notifications.
Attention!
These functions are available only, if the SIM card in the module supports
making and answering calls.
5.1 DTMF commands
DTMF commands in case of incoming calls:
*PWD#
Module password entering for authentication. ‘PWD’ has to be replaced with the
password.
*0P#
Partition disarming. ‘P’ has to be replaced with the number of partition wished to be
disarmed (e.g.: *01#).
*1P#
Partition arming. ‘P’ has to be replaced with the number of partition wished to be
armed (e.g.: *12#).
*2P#
Partition status query. ‘P’ has to be replaced with the number of partition (e.g.:
*21#).
*3RS#
Relay status setup. ‘R’ has to be replaced with the number of the relay wished to be
controlled, while ‘S’ has to be replaced with 1 if you want to close, 0 if you want to
open the relay (e.g. *321#).
*3R#
Relay status query. ‘R’ has to be replaced with the number of the relay wanted to
have a query on. (e.g.: *31#).
DTMF command in case of outgoing calls:
*
Phone notification acknowledgement.
#
Stopping further operations. If you stop the operation with this command, the
further phone numbers set up will not be called by the module.
The module gives feedback through the line about the successful fulfilment of the commands,
and answers status query this way, too. The meaning of three short beep after giving out the
command is ‘successful operation’, while in case of status query, ‘switched on status’. The
meaning of a long beep after giving out the command is ‘unsuccessful operation’, in case of
status query, ‘switched off status’.
