Digital Current Set Mode (Register 0=0)
In Digital Current Set Mode the current can be set by writing into register 7. The value
100 corresponds to 10A current. For the air cooled laser module, the value 100
corresponds to 1A.
Profile Mode (Register 0=1)
In Profile Mode the current setting is time dependant and has to be programmed. The
programming is done by setting multiple current values (similar to the digital modes
(in units of 0.1A, for the air cooled laser module in units of 0.01A)) into the registers
8,10,12... .Also, the durations (Unit: ms) have to be written into the registers 9,11,13...
Once a profile is started, the system will generate a current profile starting at the first
current value interpolation point (Register 8) and will then linearly interpolate to the
next interpolation current value (Register 10) within the specified duration (Register
9). The following setting would cause a profile starting at 20 A reducing to 10 A within
20 s and finally falling to 0 A within 10 ms.
