a description about which macros are applied to an interface. Use the
no
form
of this command to remove the description.

—Description text. The text can contain up to 160 characters.

The command has no default setting.

User Guidelines
When multiple macros are applied on a single interface, the description text
is a concatenation of texts from a number of previously applied macros.
You can verify your setting by entering the
show parser macro description
privileged EXEC modecommand.

Switch(config-if) # macro apply dup
Switch(config-if) # end
Switch(config) # interface gi1/0/3
