This section contains information applicable for converting 4000 Series
applications for use on the PEN*KEY
R
6200 and 6300 Computers.
The first part of this section deals with the subject of converting applications.
This includes 4000 Series files and programs that are still supported by Intermec
Technologies Corporation, some that are no longer supported, some that are
changed, and a few new files.
The remaining topic is a combined list of interrupts and their definitions. They
are supported for applications such as: 4000API.EXE, FONTMAP.EXE,
NPOWER.EXE, and NORAPM.EXE, as well as the system BIOS. The interfaces
include system BIOS, display services, disk services, serial communications,
system services, multiĆtasking, power management, keyboard, and mouse.
A detailed interrupt list does not appear in the Table of Contents (front of book)
or the Topic Summary, below, since it is such a long list. Several methods for
locating the interrupts and their definitions are provided, as described below:
"
The
Topic Summary
(on the following page) contains entries with pointers
to each of the major topics containing interrupts and converting 4000 Series
applications for the 6200 Series and 6300 Series computers.
"
The
List of Tables
(on the following page) contains entries with pointers to
the major topics in this section, including the crossĆreference to interrupts.
"
There is an
Interrupt Summary Table
located in each topic that lists
supported interrupts. These tables are organized by interrupt number.
These tables are listed on the next page as, Interrupts Supported by
xxxxxx", where xxxxxx is the name of an application (or the BIOS).
"
An
Interrupt CrossĆReference
table is located at the end of this section
and is organized by interrupt number.
"
The
Interrupt Index
consists of indexes to each interrupt defined in this
publication, and is organized alphabetically by topic.
See the
List of Tables,
on the next page, for assistance in locating topics listed
above.
The following is an outline of the section. The name of the supporting
application is included at the end of the first column, when applicable.
