3.2.21.5 GPRS.DIAL
Parameter syntax
GPRS.DIAL=<
This parameter causes the MAMBOII device to establish a communication to
the
external PDN (Public Data Network).
The V.250 'D' (Dial) command causes the
MAMBOII device to enter the V.250 online data state.
<
dial_value
>
It specifies the dialup text for GPRS. Please, contact your network provider to
specify the correct dialup text.
How to set/get GPRS configuration:
Set configuration
$PFAL,Cnf.Set,GPRS.DIAL=ATD*99***1#
Get configuration
$PFAL,Cnf.Get,GPRS.DIAL
Notes
•
Usually, this setting needs not to be changed as most regions use the default
dialup text (ATD*99***1#).
•
If the value is omitted, then it is set to the default value.
3.2.21.6 GPRS.TIMEOUT
Parameter syntax
GPRS.TIMEOUT=<enable>,<G_timeout>
This parameter closes automatically the GPRS connection if there is no TCP
communication available.
<enable>
It defines whether or not the timeout
has to be used. By default, this
value is set to
1
. However, it can be set to:
Value
Meaning
0
Disables GPRS connection timeouts.
1
Enables GPRS connection timeouts. In this case you have
to manually disable the
PPP.AUTOPING
parameter.
<
G_timeout
>
It specifies the period of time (in milliseconds) to re-initialize a GPRS connection,
if there is no TCP communication established this timeout. Please note that, the
specified value
must be greater than the value
defined
by the
TCP.CLIENT.TIMEOUT
parameter, otherwise the GPRS connection will be
closed (and might be restarted) periodically, which may lead to an
unreachable target device.
By default, this value is set to
10
. It means, GPRS restarts every 10 minutes if there
is no TCP communication currently established.
How to set/get GPRS configuration:
Set configuration
PFAL,Cnf.Set,GPRS.TIMEOUT=1,600000
Get configuration
PFAL,Cnf.Get,GPRS.TIMEOUT
