delete iproute
Purpose
Used to delete an IP route entry from the switch’s IP routing table.
Syntax
delete iproute [default | <network_address>]
Description
This command will delete an existing entry from the switch’s IP routing
table.
Parameters
default

deletes a default IP route entry.
<network_address>
−
IP address and netmask of the IP interface that is
the destination of the route. You can specify the address and mask
information using the traditional format (for example, 10.1.2.3/255.0.0.0 or
in CIDR format, 10.1.2.3/8).
Restrictions Only
administrator-level users can issue this command.
Example Usage:
To delete a static address 10.48.75.121, mask 255.0.0.0 from the routing table:
DES-6500:4#delete iproute 10.48.74.121/255.0.0.0
Command: delete iproute 10.48.74.121/8

Purpose
