This command is specific of EPS functionality and causes the
MT
to perform
whatever actions are necessary to establish communication between the
TE
and
the external PDN.
Parameters:
<gprs_sc>
- EPS Service Code, a digit string (value 99) which identifies a request
to use the EPS
<addr>
- string that identifies the called party in the address space applicable to
the PDP.
<L2P>
- a string which indicates the layer 2 protocol to be used . For
communications software that does not support arbitrary characters
in the dial string, the following numeric equivalents shall be used:
1 - PPP
<cid>
- a digit which specifies a particular
PDP
context definition (see
+CGDCONT
command).
Example
To dial a number in SIM phonebook entry 6:
ATD>SM6
OK
To have a voice call to the 6-th entry of active phonebook:
ATD>6;
OK
To call the entry with alphanumeric field “Name”:
