To insert errors into a BERT stream on a T3/E3 or T1/E1 line, use the
bert error
command in T3 or T1
configuration mode. To disable a BERT pattern, use the
no
form of this command.

Syntax Description
Specifies the number of BERT errors to introduce into the bit stream. The range is
from 1 to 255. The default is 1.
