Window Transfers
Diskus supports window transfers: images that are less than
full raster size and positioned in a specified place on screen.
The general rcp file format is as follows:
rcp <frame> [f]<num>[+] [x<xpos>] [y<ypos>]
[l<len>] [h<ht>] [.{yuv|rgb}]
Where [f]
is the field mode specifier.
<num>
is the frame number.
[+]
is the second field specifier.
x<pos>
is x position from top left corner.
y<pos>
is y position from top left corner.
l<len>
is the window length in pixels.
h<ht>
is the height in lines.
{yuv|rgb}
is the data format specifier.
The following examples show how to copy a frame window
from Diskus to the workstation, then back to another frame
location in Diskus.
Copy a Diskus frame window to a workstation file:
rcp diskus:f200+x60y40l300h100 field.yuv
This copies a YUV window from Diskus frame 200 field 2.
The window’s top left corner is 60 pixels over and 40 lines
down from the top left corner of the active video picture, and
is 300 pixels wide and 100 lines high.
Copy a workstation window file to a Diskus frame:
rcp field.yuv diskus:f200+x60y40l300h100
This copies a YUV window file from the workstation to
Diskus frame 200 field 2, with the same size and position as
above.
