the root user.

At the UNIX prompt, type:
lpsystem -t bsd
colorwriter

lpadmin -p
colorwriter

Colorwriter. The general format of this command is:
lpadmin -p <queuename> -s <hostname>!xjprint
N
OTE
:
The name
xjprint
after the exclamation point is for configuring the
Colorwriter; it is an internal name that the Colorwriter requests. It must be
xjprint
; it is not a user-selectable name. This is the only place where it is entered.
N
OTE
:
When setting up an lpr queue to the Colorwriter, the system name for the
remote printer—
xjprint
—must be specified in lowercase letters.
4.
Type:
accept
colorwriter
q
This command tells the Colorwriter to accept print requests from your
workstation. You are now ready to print from the workstation to the Colorwriter.
If your Colorwriter has the 32MB or 48MB memory configuration, you can
create up to three independent network connections. The three internal names are
xjprint
,
xjdirect
, and
xjhold
. Each connection points to a queue on the
Colorwriter disk.
