dhcpclient set backoff
5.15.1 Syntax
dhcpclient set backoff <backofftime>
5.15.2 Description
This command sets the global maximum time (in seconds) that a DHCP client
interface will ‘back off’ between issuing individual DHCP requests. This
prevents many clients trying to configure themselves at the same time, and
sending too many requests at once.
5.15.3 Options
The following table gives the range of values for each option which can be
specified with this command and a default value (if applicable).
