As shown on the right, the instruction using the lamp/soak generator
for the SP value is specified in bit 11 of PID mode 1 setting R+00.
If it is not bit 0 = 1 of R+33 shown in the table above, the lamp/soak
control will not operate.
5-13-4
Lamp/soak control
Four main controls for the lamp/soak generator is in
bits 0 to 3 of the lamp/soak setting in the control parameter table. KPP
controls these bits directly from the Lamp/Soak Settings dialog. However,
to control these bits during program execution, you must use a ladder
circuit. It is recommended to use bit manipulation instructions for words.
In the ladder circuit, the control bit must be set to "1" using the appropriate
instructions. When reading the lamp/soak value with PID control, this set
bit is automatically turned off. Therefore, when the CPU is in RUN mode,
no bit reset is required.
The method of setting the appropriate control bit at the edge to start the ramp/soak profile is shown in the right circuit.
The method is used with the differential contacts when the external switch I0 is turned on.
The bit set instruction is used here.
The tilt/sort control bits are usually zero. The ladder logic must not set
multiple control bits at the same time.
[Commencement] : When the value changes from 0 to 1, the
lamp/soak operation starts. CPU must be in RUN mode.
PID control can be used in either manual mode or automatic mode. If there is no hold or jog command interrupt during the
lamp/soak, the lamp/soak will normally end.
[Maintenance] : When the value changes from 0 to 1, the lamp/soak control is stopped and the SP value is frozen.
[
Termination] : The lamp/soak generator will conduct continuous operation when it is held and it changes from 0 to 1.
The SP value resumes from its previous value.
[Jog] : When changing from 0 to 1, the lamp/soak generator stops the current section and moves to the next section.
Note: DirectSOFT4 and DirectSOFT5 are not supported.
Be sure to use KPP Ver1. 5.0.0 or higher.
