Setting the Time Zone
In addition to the web interface, the CLI also provides a list of time zones
for you to configure the date and time for your PX device.
config:#
time zone
After a list of time zones is displayed, you can either type the index
number of the desired time zone or simply press Enter to cancel this
setting.
Example
To set the time zone:
1. Type the time zone command as shown below and press Enter.
config:#
time zone
2. The system shows a list of time zones. Type the index number of the
desired time zone and press Enter.
3. Type
apply
for the selected time zone to take effect.
Setting the Automatic Daylight Savings Time
This command determines whether the daylight savings time is applied
to the time settings.
config:#
time autoDST <option>
Variables:
<option> is one of the options:
enable
or
disable
.
Mode
Description
enable
Daylight savings time is enabled.
disable
Daylight savings time is disabled.
