cable telco-return spd password
To set the password that the telco-return CM uses for authentication when establishing a PPP connection
with the access server, use the
cable telco-return spd password
command in cable interface
configuration mode. To restore the default value, use the
no
form of this command.

Usage Guidelines
This command sets the Login Password parameter for the specified SPD in Telephony Channel
Descriptor (TCD) messages.
Note
This command is available only in images that support telco-return. These images have a “t” as part of
the image name.
Examples
The following example shows how to set the password to 9JwoKd7
in service provider descriptor 2:

cable telco-return spd 2 password 9JwoKd7
