Chapter 5 Cisco CMTS Debugging Commands

debug cable envm
To display information about the Cisco CMTS physical environment, including internal temperature,
midplane voltages, fan performance, and power supply voltages, use the
debug cable env
command in
privileged EXEC mode. To disable debugging output, use the
no
form of this command.

This command has no arguments or keywords.

This command is used to debug the sensor circuitry used to measure internal temperature, midplane
voltages, fan performance, and power supply voltages on the Cisco CMTS console.

Power supply raw voltage reading.
pstype
Power supply type determined from ps ID, v, and r. If the
Cisco CMTS contains dual power supplies, the ID information for
two types is usually printed.
Sensor
Sensor number.
a2dref
Analog-to-digital converter reference reading.
a2dact
Analog-to-digital converter actual (measured reading).
vref
Reference voltage.
vact
Actual voltage.
Alpha
Raw temperature reading.
temp
Temperature corresponding to Alpha.
