password-publickey
: Specifies the authentication mode for the SSH user as
password and publickey.
publickey
: Specifies the authentication mode for the SSH user as publickey (RSA key
or DSA key ) authentication.
rsa
: Specifies the authentication mode for the SSH user as publickey (RSA key or DSA
key ) authentication. The authentication modes specified by the
rsa
keyword and
publickey
keyword are implemented in the same way
Note:
For the
password-publickey
authentication type:
z
SSH1 client users can access the switch as long as they pass one of the two
authentications.
z
SSH2 client users can access the switch only when they pass both the
authentications.
Description
Use the
ssh user
authentication-type
command to specify the authentication mode
for SSH users on the server.
Use the
undo ssh user authentication-type
command to remove the configuration.
Caution:
You need to specify the authentication mode for an SSH user. Otherwise, the user will
not be able to log in to the SSH server.
